Not giving Body Heat Radio the first place of the best radio station from Cyberpunk 2077 would have been absolutely criminal. Among all the strong other channels, Body Heat sends exactly the titles that are not only great but shamelessly scream Cyberpunk. They not only fit the game and the world, but the songs evoke true feelings in the community, like even other bangers can’t manage.
I Really Want to Stay at Your House is not only the best song of the game for me. For the community, especially after Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, it is practically considered the anthem for the franchise.
Before Edgerunners, I first heard the song on the way to Judy and even thought it was scripted because it fit so well. After the anime, I like the song even more.
Also, Ponpon Shit by Us Cracks, which many players either find absolutely annoying or fantastic, just hits the right spot for me. The group is firmly tied to the game and the world of Cyberpunk through their own missions, and hearing them on the radio makes me happy that I helped them.
Lastly, I would also like to highlight Night City by Artemis Delta. Even though I Really Want to Stay at Your House is the most popular and successful song on the soundtrack, Night City is for me the “Cyberpunk 2077” song par excellence. I find myself randomly hearing the song outside of the game on the tram and just wanting to return to this city. As if it were a kind of second home.
Body Heat Radio evokes the most emotions in me and many other players. And that’s why it is for me, despite Samurai, despite strong community artists and other great radio stations, the well-deserved number 1.
