The best professional guilds from WoW will battle for the fastest raid in Tarisland starting July 1st

Two of the best guilds from World of Warcraft will compete from July 1st for the fastest raid completion in Tarisland, and you might even win something if you cheer for the right team.

What kind of competition is this? After Tarisland recently announced a speed-clear competition for everyone, the new MMORPG is now inviting professionals from World of Warcraft as well. From July 1, 2024, the guild Liquid and the guild Echo will compete in Tarisland to see who is the better one. They will defeat one raid each week for three weeks.

Their performance will be measured by the time it takes them to complete the raid. So it’s not about who defeats the raid first, but who completes it the fastest. Teams have two hours per raid.

Professionals vs. Regular Players

How is this related to e-sports in Tarisland? In Tarisland, everyone will have the chance, just like the professionals, to compete against other groups on their server for the fastest completion time. However, the professionals will be able to tackle the raid bosses earlier than the regular players. The competition for professionals begins on July 1st and will continue on July 4th and July 7th.

For the “regular players”, they will face the raid bosses exactly 14 days later. While normal players can win titles and up to €450 in the competition, for the professionals, it’s about glory and honor and a small Discord reward for the fans.

What is the reward? The spectators of the competition can cheer for their favorite team. If the team they cheer for wins, all fans will receive a champion icon next to their Discord name on the Tarisland Discord.

It is still unknown whether there will be rewards in the form of in-game items. So far, it seems to be a mix of a preview of the new raids and a Discord event.
