How long does a power bank last? The devices usually use lithium-ion cells. These wear out over time. After several charge and discharge cycles, performance is eventually lost. Instead of being able to charge your smartphone 5 times, you may only be able to do so 4 times after a few years. Cheap products wear out faster than high-quality devices.
