That mechanics in games are sometimes misused is as normal as server queues for a big release. There weren’t any queues at the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, but the first crazy misuses happened already.
How long do you need to play a map to spot the best positions and know the corners at a pocket level? 2 hours? 4 hours? All of that isn’t enough, because to find the strongest power positions in Call of Duty: Vanguard, you first need the right idea.
A clip on reddit now shows that map knowledge doesn’t always help you when facing innovative opponents. Some people are just “over the top” and demonstrate with their tricks that there’s always a little more you can do. Remember such tricks, use them yourself, and take a look at why the mini-tank “Goliath” is a gift for snipers.
Goliath provides the strongest power positions
What does that look like? A clip on the platform “reddit” shows the user “BigHero6Fan” that the Goliath offers even more applications than its equipment description suggests:
Instead of maneuvering the mini-tank towards enemy lines, BigHero6Fan and one of his team colleagues utilize the excellent physics of the rumbling Goliath. With some explosives under the tracks, the thing becomes a floating platform like those seen in jump & runs.
In the clip, the “tank flyer” has a sniper rifle ready and takes out an enemy while diving into the clouds. This method is excellent for scouting the map and could provide a significant advantage, especially in the “Search & Destroy” mode.
Will this stay the same? Currently, it can’t be said for sure whether this is a bug or intentional. The thread creator BigHero6Fan assumes it’s a glitch, so a fix might be on the way soon.
However, such small mechanics can also be intentional and thus provide an extra element of surprise. So keep an eye out for flying tanks.
With such small tricks, you can even surprise the most hardened opponents. Often, it’s the innovative solutions that set you apart from your enemies, and a strong plan B is usually worth more than perfect aiming with the weapon.
