In MultiVersus there is a leaderboard that can be climbed by eager and talented fighters. However, if you observe this list, you will find that the global best players use the same character. For this reason, we show you what makes Bugs Bunny so strong.
Where do I access the leaderboards? In the current beta of MultiVersus you can check your ranking in the leaderboards. To do this, go to the career tab of your profile and then to the “Leaderboard” area. There you can see the top rankings of players for team and solo matches.
These are the strongest characters in the leaderboards: Looking at the top players in the rankings, you can see that the majority of players in the “Teams” category have declared Bugs Bunny as their most played fighter.
| Rank | Teams | 1 VS. 1 |
| 1. | Bugs Bunny | Bugs Bunny |
| 2. | Tom & Jerry | Superman |
| 3. | Bugs Bunny | Superman |
| 4. | The Giant from Outer Space | Batman |
| 5. | Bugs Bunny | Superman |
| 6. | Bugs Bunny | Jake |
| 7. | Bugs Bunny | Tom & Jerry |
| 8. | Shaggy | Shaggy |
| 9. | Tom & Jerry | Superman |
| 10. | Batman | Bugs Bunny |
In solos, it looks different. The gray hare is also used most frequently by the first and tenth best player, but otherwise, the trickster cannot be found. It is clear that Superman is the most dominant in solos and knows how to defend his place.
You don’t know MultiVersus? Then here is a cool trailer that shows you what you’re missing:
Bugs Bunny is the King of MultiVersus
What makes Bugs Bunny so strong? There are good reasons why Bugs Bunny is so dominant in team games. His ranged attacks and items from the trick box can be used excellently in close combat without much fuss.
They are only spotted when you have already been partially kicked out of the ring. But even in close combat, he poses a nasty threat. His hand kisses stun opponents and make them easy prey for a throw, as they become paralyzed.
In an unfair combo, you can constantly stun your opponents with the help of your teammate and continuously build damage until they are ready for the throw.
Essentially, Bugs Bunny is the perfect mix of brawler, assassin, and support, as you have the perfect responses for all situations.
In doing so, Bugs Bunny, like in his cartoons, makes it clear: He is always in control. Players have also discovered this and realized that this crazy hare is hard to beat.
Bugs Bunny is too strong even for the developers: Nerf is coming soon
The Game Director Tony Huynh of MultiVersus confirms that Bugs Bunny will be nerfed soon. This is supposed to happen after the Evolution Championship Series, approximately on August 8. However, how badly the gray hare will be hit is still uncertain.
If the nerf is indeed devastating, the meta in the fighting game could change. It is likely that Superman will take the place of the gray hare as he enjoys great popularity in MultiVersus as well.
What do you think of Bugs Bunny? Have you tried him and think he’s good? Or do you prefer to stay loyal to Taz and Shaggy because they are easier to use? Feel free to let us know in the comments how you feel about it.
