MeinMMO editor Karsten is surprised: 4Story is certainly one of the biggest surprises on this list for me. When the Free2Play MMORPG from Gameforge and Zemi Interactive was released in 2008, I was still deeply entrenched in World of Warcraft.
For gamers who didn’t want to commit to a monthly subscription, the online role-playing game was obviously a good alternative. The task of the adventurers: restore peace in Iberia, as part of the magician nation “Derion” or the soldier folk “Valorian”.
Based on the faction conflict, there are a number of PvP modes such as duels, territory conquests, castle battles, monthly tournaments, and open PvP. However, there are also quests and the so-called mission maps, special instances where Derion and Valorian fight for supremacy.
During the dragon attack, PvE and PvP come together. Groups fight through three waves of monsters and challenge several bosses. The teams of the two factions can also attack each other.
