Razer Naga Trinity

What kind of mouse is this? The Naga Trinity from Razer is one of the most well-known MMO mice available. The mouse comes with three side panels and can therefore theoretically be used not only with MMOs but also with shooters and MOBAs.
With its 12-button module, the mouse is very well suited for complex MMORPGs like WoW. You can freely assign all buttons and also programm macros. This way, you can quickly use abilities without having to hit the right key on the keyboard.
However, the mouse is not suitable if you have small hands. Because then you won’t be able to reach all the buttons.

What kind of mouse is this? The Scimitar Elite is a gaming mouse that also relies on 12 thumb buttons. Corsair uses mechanical switches that provide a pleasant haptic feel. One special feature is that you can easily arrange the button field so that the area is perfectly within reach of your thumb.
Outside of MMORPGs, the mouse seems a bit much. In a fast-paced shooter, you probably won’t need all the buttons, and the high weight could also be a drawback. If you’re just looking for a mouse for extended use in games like WoW, then this mouse is a tip for you.

Razer Naga Pro (V2)

What kind of mouse is this? There is also an improved version of the Naga line from Razer. The Naga Pro offers you an even better sensor, better mouse feet, and above all, a wireless connection with your computer. Compared to the Trinity, you pay around 30 Euros more.
MeinMMO has tested the Naga Pro and we can recommend the extra cost if you definitely want a wireless version of the Naga. By now, there’s also a second version of the Naga Pro, but for under 100 Euros, the previous Naga Pro is still the better (and cheaper) recommendation.

Logitech G 604 Lightspeed

What kind of mouse is this? The G604 Lightspeed is a special case among MMO mice. It only relies on 6 buttons in the thumb area. This makes it a recommendation for players for whom the 12 buttons of a Naga or Scimitar are too much and whose main game isn’t an MMORPG.
It also has a good battery life, according to the manufacturer, of around 240 hours. Additionally, the Logitech mouse is quite unobtrusive and does not have the “gamified” look of the competition. However, the downside is the high weight. At 135 grams, the G604 is the heaviest mouse on this list.

All-rounder tip: G502 Hero Lightspeed

What kind of mouse is this? The G502 Hero is an all-rounder among gaming mice that is not specifically aimed at any particular type of player. You can freely assign and set up the 11 buttons of the mouse.
The G502 Hero has another strength compared to the other MMO mice: Unlike most MMO mice that concentrate all additional buttons on one side of the mouse, here the buttons are distributed across the entire model. This is especially practical if you do not want or need to operate all buttons only with your thumb.
The successor, the G502X Lightspeed, has been tested by MeinMMO for you. The mouse is better in almost all respects, but it is currently also 40 Euros more expensive. Given this price difference, the G502 Hero Lightspeed (still) remains our stronger recommendation.
