Warzone Trio Loadouts and Tactics – Ready for Battle in BR-3
In Warzone, you need to pay attention to several things to be successful. Campers, vehicles, privacy-infringing thermal sights, and so much more. However, many gadgets and equipment can be countered or prepared for effectively. You should best assign roles within your team:
- Frontliner – Engages in CQCs (close-quarters combat) and clears unknown areas
- Support – Deals with vehicles and protects the team
- Sniper – Scouts the planned route and delivers headshots
With this division, everything can come at you and you’ll still have the right equipment or countermeasure ready for the enemy’s approach. Here are the roles in detail:
Trio Loadout 1 – Frontliner with AUG Setup to melt opponents

What does this loadout bring? The frontliner forms the spearhead of your team and ensures the advance. They always go first through uncertain doors, push against enemy teams, and support their teammates in close combat when they need help.
For this, powerful SMGs with a bit of range are suitable. The AUG with the 5.56 conversion kit has top DPS (damage per second) values and takes down opponents quickly and reliably at close to medium range.
To support your team at greater distances, loot a ranged weapon in Verdansk. A sniper rifle or the single shot assault rifle FAL provides you with the extra kick of flexibility. Since the AUG continues to consume SMG ammunition despite the 5.56 attachment, you can use the FAL without problems.
“Cold-Blooded” and “Ghost” belong to the strongest perks in Warzone. This allows you to counter heartbeat sensors, drones, and thermal sights. As a “Scout”, you can also see enemy equipment in buildings and, along with the heartbeat sensor, scout enemy positions. If you find “Dead Silence”, you can then attack these positions as stealthily as possible.
With the C4, you protect yourself from persistent vehicles that want to get too close to you. This explosive is excellent for destroying vehicles in Warzone. It is also very useful to preemptively remove armor from campers in rooftops and announce that things are about to get uncomfortable. On consoles, you activate a thrown C4 by quickly pressing “Reload” twice in succession.
What else could I adjust here? If the AUG with this setup is too sluggish for you, swap the 60 round drum for the smaller 5.56 magazine. This way, you’ll be quicker in your sights, have a bit more control, but only half the bullets. The MP5 matches the AUG in terms of DPS and will also advance you here.
Instead of the thermal protection “Cold-Blooded,” “KDR” is an option. This perk helps against enemy explosive attacks from launchers or the like. An invaluable aid against the commonly used RPG, which became stronger after a rework of the launchers. However, you then have a disadvantage against thermal snipers, as you shine as brightly in their sight as the new LED lighting on a main road.
Instead of “Scout,” you can also use the yellow perk “Tracker.” This way, you can see the footsteps of enemies for a while, which can be very helpful when tracking or locating opponents.

What does this loadout bring? The supporter has basically 3 tasks in the team:
- Support frontliners with flanking attacks
- Keep the team alive
- Destroy enemy vehicles
With the Grau setup, the supporter loses some effectiveness in close combat but hits nearly everything, even at long distances. The support should operate from the second line behind the frontliner and find and exploit potential flanking positions. Semtex or fragmentation grenades support your joint advance.
Here too, “Ghost” and “Cold-Blooded” offer strong advantages, as the chance of being discovered early is lower.
To help the team survive, the support always ensures to stay much in cover and rarely gets knocked or retreats quickly. With “Amped,” you revive your teammates 25% faster. The smoke grenade helps secure comrades in contested areas or when retreating.
Additionally, the smoke grenade offers many usage possibilities. It’s a strong tool when team members already have heartbeat sensors. Another helpful tool is the mobile cover. This allows you to reach certain spots in Verdansk that you can’t access without it or jump onto a wall that might otherwise be a bit too high.
Additionally, you have the PILA launcher, so your team is equipped against vehicles. The entire team should gather rocket ammunition for the supporter. This ensures that the PILA always has plenty of ammo and a rocket should be sent after any vehicle that gets within lock-on range. What else could I adjust here? The full power against vehicles comes with C4 in the primary equipment slot. A shot with the PILA followed by a placed C4 charge can even blow trucks into the air. A player once impressively proved how effective C4 can be against 2 trucks at once.
If the Grau 5.56 is stable enough for you, consider removing the stock instead of the Void grip. “No stock” gives you more mobility and trades it for some control. The drawbacks of the 60-round magazine are hardly felt with “No stock” and are thus also worth considering. If you play Free-to-Play and haven’t unlocked the Grau, try the laser setup for the M13. This assault rifle consumes significantly more bullets, though.
If you find special ammunition, stick it right into your Grau. The stable weapon then deals a bit more damage with only minimal handling drawbacks. The maximum 30 rounds from the package also do not come from your reserve and provide a few extra shots.

What does this loadout bring? The sniper in the team scouts out areas, puts pressure on enemies, and delivers painful hits to enemy teams that stand in your way. Always on the way to the next rooftop, they form the team’s base but never stray too far from their colleagues.
The HDR setup is among our 3 best loadouts for snipers in Warzone and provides you with nearly perfect aim stability. With the thermal sight, you can spot enemies at great distances without “Cold-Blooded” and the strong handling of the weapon allows for precise hits.
The ninja perks “Cold-Blooded” and “Ghost” should also be included by snipers. However, if you prefer to play a bit more withdrawn and away from your team, other perks are also possible.
To avoid being completely dependent on your quick-scope skills in close combat, find yourself a quick secondary weapon in Warzone. There are some strong blueprints for SMGs or mobile assault rifles that perfectly complement your high range.
To optimally cover your team’s back, pack a heartbeat sensor and proximity mines. Frequently check the area behind you with the sensor to see if teams without “Ghost” are approaching and place mines at the entrances to your spots. If you leave your position, you can also pick up the mines again.
For field upgrades, the sniper is sort of the pack mule. If your team finds an ammo or armor box, they should give the gadgets to the sniper. Also, trophy systems or other helpful machines, like the small reconnaissance drone, fit into their inventory if they don’t have a reserve box handy.
What else could I adjust here? If you don’t want to rely on finding a mobile weapon in Warzone, take “Overkill” as your red perk. This gives you a fully equipped second weapon for the battlefield. Opt for the stable Grau 5.56 or one of the strong Warzone SMGs, like the AUG, MP5, or MP7 as a secondary weapon.
However, if you’re compactly positioned as a team, enemies can see you on their heartbeat sensors, which can be a significant disadvantage. As you approach the endgame, try to snag one of the free supply crates to organize “Ghost” for yourselves.
Trio Tactics for Strong Teamwork
What advantages does this arrangement bring? By staggered roles in 3 rows, you minimize the chance of being completely taken down as a team. Additionally, you cover a larger field of vision, as each team member has their own task:
- Frontliners secure the area ahead and search for the best routes for advancement
