The duo mode of Call of Duty: Warzone is an intense experience for two and is particularly fun with a good buddy. MeinMMO provides you with 2 loadouts here that you can start with as a duo team and have almost everything you need.
What do coordinated loadouts bring in the Warzone? As soon as you find yourself in the lobby, it’s straight into the game search with the hope of a big Warzone victory.
This is how many start the battle royale. However, you can easily secure a significant advantage if you synchronize your loadouts before the attack on Verdansk. Questions like
- “Does anyone have a Claymore?”
- “How do we quickly take out that truck?”
- “Is anyone carrying a heartbeat sensor?”
will then be a thing of the past and can be answered with “Yes” from the start. This also applies to the duo mode. Once you’ve grabbed your personal loadouts, you are ready with the coordinated loadouts to adequately respond to almost any threat. For the rest, here are tips on how to take down a Juggernaut in the Warzone – because there is otherwise no remedy against it.
Warzone Duo Loadouts and Tactics – Ready for battle in BR duo
So if you’re not currently running a strong solo loadout, you should always coordinate your gear with your team mates. Therefore, MeinMMO suggests 2 suitable loadouts for a duo team:
- Scout – Establishes the rough plan and ensures that the team survives
- Ram Bock – Provides the specific direction and eliminates threats
The suggested loadout solution not only divides you into “Sniper” and “Close Combat” roles but also defines your roles so that you always know exactly who has to make a decision. This saves valuable moments in stressful situations and works particularly well with 2 players. If you’re also looking for loadouts for trios, check this out:
Duo Loadout 1 with M13 Setup – Ram Bock for the Rough Front Work
M13 Setup
- Muzzle: Silencer (Monolith)
- Barrel: Tempus Marksman
- Underbarrel: Command Grip
- Ammo: 60-round magazine
- Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Perks
- Blue: Cold-Blooded
- Red: Ghost
- Yellow: Tracker
Equipment
- Secondary Weapon: PILA Rocket Launcher
- Primary: C4
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
- Strong Field Upgrades: Trophy System / Dead Silence / Special Ammo
What does this loadout bring? As the “Ram Bock”, you should eliminate enemy threats as stealthily as possible and are also responsible for the rough tasks, such as destroying vehicles or providing cover fire. For this, you need a primary weapon that performs well at any distance and a rocket launcher that puts pressure on vehicles and enemies behind cover.
The M13 is a good example of an all-round weapon in CoD’s “Battle Royale”. With the setup, it quickly gets on target and can keep up in close combat. But the great strength of the assault rifle is its high stability, allowing you to hit enemies securely even at great distances. This way, you can even support your teammate who is firing at an unsuspecting team in the next gas station with his sniper rifle.
When scouting buildings, the heartbeat sensor, one of the best tactical items in the Warzone, helps you spot enemies without the “Ghost” perk from up to 50 meters away. The yellow perk “Tracker” shows you enemy footsteps for a short time, which you can then deal with as a team. “Cold-Blooded” protects you from detection by thermal optics, which is useful to stay off the enemies’ radar.
With the loadout, you are also excellently equipped against the vehicles of the Warzone. You can easily take out helicopters and small vehicles with your guided PILA and C4 can even finish off an SUV in one hit. C4 is a top choice in the Warzone anyway, as it offers creative usage possibilities and vehicles react badly to it.
What else could I adjust? The usefulness of rocket launchers does not correspond for some players to the fact that you can’t use an SMG as a secondary weapon in Verdansk. If you feel the same way, equip yourself with an MP7, AUG, or MP5, which you find on your way to victory in the Warzone.
If the “Iron Sight” (iron sight) of the M13 doesn’t suit you, put on an appropriate scope and leave the grip in the attachment box. If the weapon becomes a bit too sluggish for you, switch to the 50-round ammunition clip. If the M13 generally isn’t your style, you can find setups for the most stable all-round weapons of the Warzone here:
The perk “Cold-Blooded” is essential for the “Scout”, but interchangeable for the front fighter. The alternative here is “KRD” – the Anti-Explosive Perk. This reduces damage from primary grenades and rocket explosions. You can also consider swapping the yellow perk “Tracker” for “Battle Hardened”. This way, tactical grenades affect you less.
Duo Loadout 2 with HDR Setup – Scout for Team Safety
HDR Setup
- Muzzle: Silencer (Monolith)
- Barrel: 26.9″ HDR Pro
- Laser: Tactical Laser
- Scope: Thermal Dual-Power Scope
- Stock: FTAC Champion
Perks
- Blue: Cold-Blooded
- Red: Ghost
- Yellow: Recon
Equipment
- Secondary weapon for shorter distances
- Primary: Claymore
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade / Recon Drone
- Strong Field Upgrades: Ammunition & Armor Box / Recon Drones
What does this loadout bring? As the “Scout” in the team, you are responsible for ruthless kills at long distances and completing your mission. You determine the direction but leave the exact path to your “Ram Bock” soldier buddy and ensure that your team stays alive – even without your teammate.
For your long-range kills, you take the stable HDR setup with you. The Champion stock and laser provide a nice target stability that, combined with good bullet speed, leads to secure hits. The barrel and monolith silencer increase your range, and the thermal scope spots careless enemies at long distances.
However, you are dependent on your loot luck for your secondary weapon. Get yourself an SMG in Verdansk to support your partner in close combat pushes. It is also possible for you to build your loadout twice and for the second version equip a weapon for smaller distances instead of the HDR. The FAL is an excellent choice for short to medium distances but requires some practice. Then buy a second equipment box or take one of the free loadout boxes that drop twice in the match.
The perks “Cold-Blooded” and “Ghost” help you become harder to detect. Especially the blue perk “Cold-Blooded” is essential for snipers, as you would otherwise have a disadvantage against other snipers using thermal scopes. With the yellow perk “Recon”, you scout houses that your teammate wants to enter. This allows you to see enemy mines, such as sneaky corner claymores, beforehand and even hack them if you get close enough.
One of those nasty claymores is definitely something you want to take with you. They are invaluable when securing doors, entrances, ladders, or whatever you want to keep your eyes off of for a few seconds longer. The smoke grenade offers many creative usage possibilities:
- Revive a team member
- Feint an attack
- Support a push
- Secure a retreat
What else could I adjust? If you don’t want to miss out on your secondary weapon, go into battle with “Overkill”. This gives you the chance to carry a souped-up MP5 or 5.56 AUG into the battle royale. You can still acquire the Ghost perk later, but during this time, you are visible to recon drones and the heartbeat sensor.
The thermal scope can be useful. However, as so many players use the perk “Cold-Blooded”, it doesn’t always provide an advantage – sometimes it’s even a disadvantage when spotting enemies. If you’re not convinced by the scopes, find another one you prefer or take a larger magazine with you. The HDR already comes standard with a large scope. Here are more sniper loadouts for the one-shot weapons of the Warzone.
The smoke grenades can be useful, but some players find them weak. Choose what you prefer to play. But leave the heartbeat sensor at home if your duo partner already has the device with them. Instead, communicate during the match and take stun or flash grenades.
If you find one of the recon scopes, they can also be very useful, especially if you avoid the thermal scope of the HDR – the thermal mode is also offered by the “Spotter Scope”.
Duo Tactics for Strong Teamwork
How should we proceed as a team? In a duo, you can also perform good teamwork without extensive interplay if your roles are clear from the start:
- The scout regularly checks the map and roughly states the plan
- The ram bock is responsible for advancing and gives the specific direction
Always keep a respectful distance when advancing so that enemies have a hard time hitting both of you at the same time. But stay close enough to support each other within seconds. The “Ram Bock” stands at the forefront of the attack, while the “Scout” stays a few steps back and covers the team’s back.
The sniper player should generally avoid danger and retreat when the battle cannot be won. It’s better to buy back your teammate than start a new match. The front man should also regularly pass his cash to the “Scout”, as his life expectancy is generally a bit lower.
If you play together more often, you’ll keep finding new tactics that make your approach easier and give you security – the greater your trust in each other will grow. The “Ram Bock” appreciates being revived thanks to a smoke grenade in a critical situation, and the “Scout” will notice how effectively highlighted enemies disappear from the map with the all-round rifle.
The tips here provide you with a solid foundation from which you can develop and expand your own duo tactics. On MeinMMO, you’ll find even more strategies for your Warzone victory, such as the match tactic of the most successful Warzone player ever.
