The Best Year 1 Armor for Warlocks
Warlocks have to make some compromises with Year 1 armors. The community has found only a few harmonizing exotics for the class so far. However, these armor pieces were already strong before Forsaken and can still convince.
Nezarec’s Sin
The exotic helm Nezarec’s Sin was already a good choice for Void Warlocks before Forsaken, and it can still keep up with the new path Tuning of the Split.

Void damage kills with this helm increase ability energy regeneration. Tuning of the Split also ensures that all kills with Void damage return ability energy and heal the Warlock.
Lunafaction Boots
The Lunafaction Boots are certainly welcomed by every Warlock, but they really shine with the new Solar Warlock path Tuning of Grace.

The perk of the boots ensures that the Warlock’s rifts receive the additional ability to automatically reload the weapons of allies. Empowering Rift makes weapons more effective over longer distances.
This effect also works with the new super Well of Radiance, but only for half the time that the super lasts. The Well of Radiance lasts for 30 seconds. For 15 seconds of that, the super receives the effect of the Lunafaction Boots. Clever Warlocks set a normal rift in the well after 15 seconds, so that the effect lasts throughout the super’s duration.
Are you still using exotics from Year 1, or are you relying on the new exotic items from Forsaken? Have you already found other combinations of the new paths with old items? Let us know in the comments!
