What distinguishes Gunslingers? These Guardians are true outlaws and space cowboys. They represent the precision of Hunters and are masterful with weapons. Even if every bullet has been fired, they have flaming revolvers and deadly knives at their disposal.
These specializations have Solar Hunters:
- Golden Gun (Way of the Outlaw) – These Hunters don’t need to aim to hit – you fire your flame revolver from the hip and, as if by magic, hit every enemy. You secure your retreat with knives that become proximity mines.
- Golden Gun (Way of the Marksman) – As the name suggests, this is the sniper focus from Destiny 2. These Hunters enter a trance on the battlefield and are fully focused on weapon precision. Even your throwing knife hits so accurately that it instantly takes out enemies.
- Blade Barrage (Way of a Thousand Cuts) – As true knife masters, they don’t need guns. However, these Hunters don’t rely solely on a single knife in battle, but throw a whole fan of burning blades.

- Heavenly Nightfall: With the helmet, the Golden Gun has only one shot, but it hits really hard. An eternal must-have against bosses.
- Galanor Fragments: Ideal for Hunters with Blade Barrage. You charge the super faster and can unleash a swarm of burning throwing knives more often.
- Athrys’ Embrace: If you like to show tricks with the “Balanced Wormknife”, you need this Exotic. The blade then bounces multiple times, is stronger, and can even stop champions.
Trickster and fan favorite Cayde-6 is the most famous Destiny character and the epitome of the Gunslinger.
