The best perks for PvE content: The Dangerous Throw is a rare drop in Gambit mode and fires even slower than the Aether Doctor but deals more damage. The Dangerous Throw has no sights but weapon barrel specifications. These are the best attributes you can find for PvE on this weapon:

- Magazine – Backup Mag, Lightweight Mag, High Caliber Rounds
- Perk 1 – Triple Tap, Ambitious Assassin

With the Triple Tap perk, the choice of the right magazine becomes negligible. After three critical hits, a round is added to the magazine. However, this no longer costs your ammunition reserves; the bullet appears almost out of nowhere.
