1. Bonechiller
The shotgun “Bonechiller” is one of the precision shotguns that does not fire a wide spread of pellets, but a single projectile (slug). The weapon deals Void damage and requires special ammo.
Here’s why the weapon is so good: Slug shotguns currently lead the DPS rankings of the strongest special weapons in PvE. Although they play a bit differently since you need to aim well, you are rewarded with enormous damage at good range.

- Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling (+5 Stability, Range, and Handling)

- Slot 1: Auto-Loading Holster (stowed weapon is automatically reloaded after a short time)
- Slot 2: Demolitionist (kills grant grenade energy and throwing grenades reloads this weapon)
Where can you get Bonechiller? You can reliably get the new weapons from Europa from Variks. You can specifically hunt them through his bounties or obtain them guaranteed through Empire Hunts.
Is there a current alternative? Since the last changes to the loot pool, you can hope for drops from the slug shotgun Workaholic. It is also in the energy slot and can roll with Vorpal Weapon alongside Auto-Loading Holster.
2. Under-Null Salvo

- Slot 2: Chain Reaction (kills create an elemental explosion) or Frenzy (kills grant super energy) or Cluster Bombs (rockets create smaller explosions on detonation)

Is there a current alternative? Alternatives with high power limits can only be farmed in the Iron Banner or through Trials.
