In Fortnite the Batman event has started. There is a Batman Bundle in the shop and a Catwoman outfit in the item shop. We will show you everything about the event.
What kind of event is this? The Batman event was announced on September 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM with a trailer on Fortnite’s official YouTube channel. The event runs until October 6, 2019. There is a Batman Bundle, Catwoman skin, a new city: Gotham City, and “Welcome to Gotham City” challenges.

Batman Bundle and Catwoman Skin in the Shop
What does the Batman Bundle contain? The bundle includes 6 items. For 19.99 Euros you can buy the bundle in the Fortnite shop. It contains:
- The “Batman” Outfit
- A Back Bling “Bat-Cape”
- The “The Dark Knight” Outfit
- A Back Bling “Bat-Cloak”
- A Pickaxe “Bat-Pickaxe”
- A Glider “Batplane”
What does the Catwoman skin look like? The Catwoman skin is available for 1500 V-Bucks in the item shop. Together with her pickaxe, she can be bought for 2300 V-Bucks.
New City in Fortnite – Gotham City
What kind of city is this? The Rift Beacon that was set up in Tilted Town has now brought the city Gotham City. The city Gotham City is known from the Batman movies.
If you fly into the city, your glider transforms into the Bat-Glider and the atmosphere becomes dark. As long as you are in the city, you can continually open your glider when jumping from a tall building.
Welcome to Gotham City – Challenges
What are the challenges? You need to complete various tasks to unlock different rewards. You should complete these challenges:
- Deal damage to opponents with an explosive Batarang (0/250)
- Activate different Bat-Signals outside of Gotham City (0/3)
- Use the Batman Grappler in different matches (0/3)
- Disarm Joker gas containers at different named locations (0/3)
- Deal any amount of damage to opponents within 30 seconds after using a Batman Grappler
- Activate a Bat-Signal during a match, use a Batman Grappler, and deal any amount of damage with an explosive Batarang
What rewards do you get? As a reward for completing the challenges, you receive a loading screen, a banner, a glider, a spray pattern, and a total of 6000 experience points.
