The Mag’har come as an Allied Race in WoW: Battle for Azeroth. Dataminers have already found their mount and a possible Heritage Armor.
With World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, some races join the Horde and the Alliance. So far, only six of these races have been confirmed. The Alliance gets the Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves, and Void Elves, while the Horde sees the Zandalari Trolls, Nightborne, and Highmountain Tauren.
However, more and more evidence points to another Allied Race: The Mag’har. This orc clan has not succumbed to the temptation of Fel and therefore still has brown skin.
Dataminers find Heritage Armor and Mount of the Mag’har
The dataminers from wowhead have already extracted some things related to the Mag’har. There is a new map that apparently takes place in Gorgrond. This suggests that the Mag’har come from the alternate Draenor (WoD) and not from the shattered world.
Furthermore, a mount of the Mag’har has already been extracted, the Mag’har Direwolf.
Lastly, a new armor set in the classic Orc style has even been discovered, which may represent the Heritage Armor of the Mag’har Orcs.
When the Mag’har Orcs will be available is still uncertain. Since Blizzard announced only 6 allied races with the launch of the addon, it is possible that this is already content for a future patch, with the first data being anchored in the game now. In the current alpha, the Mag’har Orcs are not yet available.
Strictly speaking, the Mag’har from the shattered world are already part of the Horde, as Thrall invited them back then, and some Mag’har could already be seen in Orgrimmar. This only increases the likelihood that these Mag’har are the Orcs from the alternative Draenor.
