The order goes here from the “cheapest” item on our top list to the most expensive item to date.
However, the MMORPG Entropia, notorious for its horrendous item prices, occupies several places in the top selection, so we organized the items by the games in which they appear and only prominently featured the most expensive item of each game.

Place 8 – Revenant Supercarrier from Eve Online – $9,000
What kind of game is this? Eve Online is a massive MMORPG in which you can act completely freely. You have a huge, open sandbox universe where you can do whatever you want. The entire economy is in the hands of players and thanks to a sophisticated real money exchange system, all items in the game have a real monetary value.
What kind of item is this? In 2013, a substantial purchase occurred in Eve Online when a player acquired a massive Revenant-class supercarrier. The price at that time was approximately $9,500, which today corresponds to an amount of about €8,500.
Ships like this are powerful fighting machines that can be dangerous even to small fleets. Therefore, they are valuable objects in the game, whose presence can decide battles.
What happened to the item? However, the player was not too happy with his hefty Revenant supercarrier in the end. Because shortly after his purchase, one of the most powerful battles in Eve Online took place, in which the freshly bought Revenant tragically met its end in the laser storm.
Eve Online is notorious for its devastating wars, where huge sums of real money are wasted.
Place 7 – Account of “Zeuzo” from WoW – $9,500
What kind of game is this? World of Warcraft is an enormously successful MMORPG that has been around since 2004 and still delights many players. At its peak in 2007, there was a player named Zeuzo who had a particularly coveted hero.
What kind of item is this? In fact, Zeuzo had an extremely powerful character with his rogue. He owned, among other things, the highly coveted Twin Blades of Azzinoth, an item that hardly anyone had in the game at that time.
Thus, his account was worth a lot of money and another player eventually acquired Zeuzo’s account for a hefty $9,500. That would be about €8,600 today.
What happened next? The deal went through and the new owner got to enjoy his new account for a few days. However, as account trading is not allowed by the developers at Blizzard, things did not end well.
The developers eventually banned the account, and all the invested money was lost. As far as is known, there was never a refund for the unfortunate buyer.
