What is the film about? The Fifth Element is a science fiction film in which evil
appears and threatens all of humanity. Only the fifth element can stop it. The unemployed taxi driver, played by Bruce Willis, gets caught up in the conflict and falls in love with the fifth element, played by Milla Jovovich.
What makes The Fifth Element so good? The big highlight of the film is the set and costume design. Everything looks wonderfully quirky and gives the world a unique look. The humor is enjoyable, and Bruce Willis exudes much of his charm from that time. The true star of the film is clearly Gary Oldman as Zorg.

5. Die Hard

What is the film about? John McClane is a police officer from New York who doesn’t really want to go to a Christmas party at Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles. He does it grimly for his wife. When terrorists suddenly storm the event and take hostages, John must try to save everyone with tricks and skill.
What makes Die Hard so good? In the 80s, huge hulks dominated as action heroes. John McClane stands out because he is not afraid to squeeze into an air duct. Die Hard has charm and good action. Especially nice for a Christmas movie is the chemistry between John and the police officer Al Powell. Alan Rickman as the villain Hans Gruber also does a fantastic job.
