What is The Lord of the Rings Online? LOTRO (or also HdRO) thrives on atmosphere, a great community, and the expanded world. From the starting zones, it gradually goes into a corrupted world threatened by Sauron’s grip.
Even almost 13 years after release, there are still regular updates for the MMORPG. Most recently, there was the expansion revolving around Minas Morgul. According to their own statements, the developers could provide content for the next 20 years.
The game is naturally aimed at fans of Middle-earth and Tolkien. However, general MMORPG fans will also have fun.
Why is it particularly worthwhile at Easter? To experience the complete MMORPG, you either need to do a lot of grinding and spend money to access all expansions. But that’s not necessary right now.
Due to the coronavirus, the developer Turbine has made all content of “The Lord of the Rings Online” available for free until April 30. A good time to dive into Middle-earth.
ArcheAge Unchained – MMORPG

What is ArcheAge Unchained? Unchained is the Buy2Play version of ArcheAge that does not include the optional subscription system and possible pay-to-win in the shop. However, there is no difference in gameplay content compared to the free-to-play version.
ArcheAge is a sandbox MMORPG where you follow quests relatively strictly up to level 30, but then enjoy a lot of freedom. You can focus on PvP, become a pirate, sail the seas, build a house, or learn various crafting professions.
A special feature is the class system. You have a total of 12 different specializations available, of which 3 can be chosen at will. This leads to theoretically 220 different class combinations.
Why is it particularly worthwhile at Easter? During Easter, ArcheAge Unchained is hosting a free weekend. From April 9 at 7 PM our time until April 13 at 7 PM, you can create a free account.
Please visit the official website and enter the code “AAUWEEKEND2020”. This will grant your Glyph account a free version of ArcheAge Unchained.
This free version, however, may have restrictions regarding housing, the auction house, and other contents. However, if you decide to buy Unchained, your progress will be preserved. Currently, the different packages are also slightly discounted.
