Place 2 Antonia “starletnova”
- Participation: Season 2
- Placement: Place 7
Antonia “starletnova” was a participant in the second season. During the season, she achieved very little and primarily focused on herself. Her many negative thoughts and mindset ultimately led her to exit.
In Episode 8 of the second season, she describes her condition as follows: “If tomorrow my mental health, my mental capacity is still this bad and I am really in despair, […], that I have panic attacks and such, then I will press the button tomorrow.”
The biggest danger in the wilderness is often one’s own mind, as this contestant has impressively shown. Although she had hardly any physical problems, she went home early.
Place 1 David “Dave” Henrichs
- Participation: Season 1
- Placement: Place 6
David “Dave” Henrichs probably had one of the shortest appearances on 7 vs. Wild. On the very day of his elimination, he had already been picked up again. He had upset his stomach and was not prepared with a shelter for the rain and cold of the evening.
While he was considered a replacement contestant in Season 2, he later transitioned to the role of “Behind the Scenes” manager and remained with the series in production.
His participation vividly demonstrated why inexperienced contestants should carefully consider how to approach such a project. However, he likely learned from his time and has since started his own series on YouTube.
The majority of contestants who left 7 vs. Wild early did not encounter serious problems. On the contrary, they were eliminated due to inattention, mental or physical issues. This also happened to Fritz Meinecke and Survival Mattin in the third season of 7 vs. Wild: The new Episode 6 of 7 vs. Wild has sparked much criticism and discussion: This is what Fritz Meinecke says
