Place 4 Sabrina “Sabrina Outdoor” Camlott
- Participation: Season 2
- Placement: Place 6
The journey of Sabrina “Sabrina Outdoor” Camlott in 7 vs. Wild was tough, just like the ground of her shelter where she slept each night. The flood and the adversities of nature, along with her mental state, led to her elimination.
For safety reasons, she withdrew from the project as the rising flood at night increasingly worried her about safety, as she explained in the episode on YouTube.
Although she entered the project well-prepared, she had little room to venture into the jungle of Season 2. After a short time, she hardly knew what to do with herself. With a sense of hopelessness, the contestant passed the days until she made the call.
Place 3 Niklas “Niklas on fire” Röder
- Participation: Season 1
- Placement: Place 7
Niklas “Niklas on fire” Röder was a participant in the first season and smashed his head within the first moments of the project. To have his wound treated, he called the organizing team for help. Consequently, he was eliminated. Despite the injury and being out of competition, he continued for several more days.
Later, he returned to his elimination site for a video on YouTube and reflected on the time. He mentioned that in the days leading to the 2nd elimination, he spent most of his time searching for food and had eaten “all the blueberries on the whole island”.
The contestant is a good example of how even the best preparation for the project does little good if one rushes things. In the preparation of new contestants, he is therefore often cited as a cautionary example.
