Many of the fighters who confront Freezer, Cell, and the other villains are men. However, there are female characters who can easily hold their own against their male counterparts. MeinMMO has compiled the strongest women in Dragon Ball in a power ranking.
The majority of the group fighting alongside Son Goku against aliens is composed of men. There are only a handful of strong women throughout the Dragon Ball anime who display extraordinary strength.
Therefore, we examined all the female characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Daima, and Dragon Ball Super and ranked them. In the ranking, we did not consider the individual fusions. Notably, all characters in the top 5 originate from Dragon Ball Super, one of the new animes.
Place 5: Caulifla
- First appearance: Episode 88 (Dragon Ball Super)
- Affiliation: Saiyan
Caulifla is a female Saiyan from Universe 6. She is the first woman in the anime to become a Super Saiyan. She participates in the Tournament of Power and is the leader of her own gang consisting of criminal Saiyans. Her punk appearance reflects her behavior as she often insults her opponents in battle. Additionally, she is stubborn and arrogant.
During the tournament, Caulifla even manages to become the first Saiyan from Universe 6 to reach the double Super Saiyan form, and that in record time. Son Goku is impressed by her power during the tournament, as she can keep up with him in SSJ2 form. Ultimately, however, she is defeated by Goku when he transforms into a Super Saiyan God.
Place 4: Kale
- First Appearance: Episode 89 (Dragon Ball Super)
- Affiliation: Saiyan
In contrast to her best friend Caulifla, Kale is a calm and gentle person. She is also part of Caulifla’s gang but tries to avoid violence. She is the female counterpart of Broly, who is known as the Legendary Super Saiyan in Son Goku’s universe.
Her lack of self-confidence led her to become a Legendary Super Saiyan instead of a normal Super Saiyan in the Tournament of Power. In this state, she possesses remarkable strength and was even able to effortlessly deflect a Kamehameha from Son Goku, who had transformed into a Super Saiyan God. He was only able to take Kale down when he developed Ultra Instinct.
