What’s in Enlisted: In Enlisted, players experience some of the key and most well-known episodes of World War II on the battlefield. The MMO shooter is set during World War II and allows players to play from a first or third-person perspective.
The focus of the title is on tactical squad battles that take place in huge battles with up to 100 players. In some modes, players not only control their own character but also a 5-man squad of AI comrades. Other modes offer smaller skirmishes in 15v15 or 30v30 formats.
Enlisted aims to provide as realistic a depiction of World War II as possible, where every bullet could mean your end. The atmosphere of the game should feel more intense. Despite all this, Enlisted aims to remain accessible and not just cater to experienced shooter fans. For example, it is possible to jump directly into the game and start playing immediately. There is no need for intense preparation or planning. You start the game and just get going.
In the game itself, it is possible to collect equipment, unlock more characters, and trade weapons and characters with other players.
How has the development of Enlisted gone so far? Enlisted has been in development since 2016 and is expanded through reaching additional stretch goals in funding. The developers are very open about the revenue and goals.
The game is currently in pre-alpha on PC, with a closed alpha and beta planned. The start for early access on Steam should occur in 2019.
The final release on PC is expected to occur soon after, as Enlisted aims to be as close to the release version as possible at the start of early access, needing only a few months of polish. The game should not remain in early access for long.

All further content will depend on the revenue the game can generate after launch. Because without money, there will be no further development. Whether Enlisted can manage to generate enough revenue to ensure its existence remains to be seen.
