Garrosh Hellscream

When talking about the strongest Orcs, one must also talk about Garrosh. Garrosh Hellscream was the son of Grommash Hellscream, who was the first to drink the blood of demons and thus condemned the Orcs to a bloodlust.
With this certainty, Garrosh had to spend his life – before he met Thrall, who showed him that his father was actually a hero who ultimately broke the curse.
Garrosh then accompanied Thrall to Azeroth and was almost always by his side – during important political discussions.
But there was a growing discontent in Garrosh. He saw how “softened” the Horde had become on Azeroth. Peaceful cooperation and compromises with enemies did not please him at all. But he held back until his time came.
When the Cataclysm broke out, Thrall had to relinquish the Warchief position to focus on shamanism – and he appointed Garrosh as his successor.
Garrosh quickly let this power go to his head. He reignited the war between Horde and Alliance, aggressively tried to expand the territory of the Horde, and committed several war crimes – such as obliterating the city of Theramore with a mana bomb.
Garrosh increasingly evolved into a dictator who allowed no other opinions and no other people in his ranks – or if he did, only if they fulfilled blind obedience.
At the end of “Mists of Pandaria,” it was possible to confront Garrosh, although he had just absorbed the power of an Old God.
Even though Garrosh did this, he retained his own will and mind – he was not corrupted by the Old Gods. Just that shows his strong will, unrivaled among Orcs.
With the help of a dragon, Garrosh managed to escape into the alternate timeline of Draenor and there founded the Iron Horde, delaying the fate of the Orcs as slaves to the demons and saving his own father. From here, he commanded the invasion of Azeroth, which was soon repelled.
In Nagrand of the alternate Draenor, there comes the showdown between Garrosh and Thrall at a Mak’gora – an honorable duel of the Orcs, to the death. Garrosh only loses because Thrall taps into the power of the elements and thus uses “magic” – something that is actually not allowed.
After that, Garrosh only had a brief appearance in the Shadowlands, where he was tortured for his strong spirit to extract as much Anima from him as possible. At the end of a boss fight, Garrosh’s soul completely dissipates.
