We present five online games that were revealed at the E3 2018 and are now highly anticipated.
Anthem
What is Anthem? Anthem is an online shooter in the style of Destiny. In a futuristic world, you must protect humanity from monsters. You play as a so-called Freelancer, piloting powerful Javelin exosuits. They serve as the classes in Anthem. This is connected with an upgrade system and a BioWare-typical story.
What distinguishes Anthem? With BioWare and EA, two giants stand behind Anthem, which could make it a strong competitor to established titles like Destiny or The Division. Anthem focuses on the co-op experience among friends and will be a purely PvE game, potentially fostering a friendly and passionate community, similar to Warframe. If BioWare can implement its plans as promised, we can expect an exciting AAA title that will be played for many years to come.

Battlefield V
What is Battlefield V? The next installment in the Battlefield series will focus on World War II. The community reacted somewhat controversially to some announcements about the game, especially the inclusion of fighting women has sparked discussions.
What distinguishes Battlefield V? Battlefield V will debut new gameplay features. For instance, there are the Grand Operations: These are large-scale operations and thus the most extensive mode in the multiplayer part of Battlefield 5. 64 players are divided into two teams and compete against each other. Additionally, a Battle Royale mode was confirmed at E3: Many details about this have not yet been disclosed by EA, but it should be revealed later this year. However, it has already been announced that you can drive vehicles there and that teamwork is essential.

The Division 2
What is The Division 2? The Division 2 is the sequel to the post-apocalyptic MMO shooter (The Division) developed by Ubisoft. The first part was set in New York. A deadly virus broke out on Black Friday, just before Christmas, plunging the city into total chaos. The story continues in The Division 2.
What distinguishes The Division 2? The Division is an established brand. The Division 1 has been significantly improved in recent years and the developers have learned to better understand their community. With The Division 2, they are aware that players expect more content from a game that has a stronger PvE focus. There will be innovations in gameplay and setting that meet community expectations. So far, The Division 2 looks promising for fans of online shooters.

Fallout 76
What is Fallout 76? Fallout 76 will be a “real Fallout” but with a mandatory online mode. It will this time be an online RPG with survival elements. After Fallout 4, set in the Commonwealth, Fallout 76 takes you to West Virginia. You are a resident of Vault 76, one of the vaults that opened shortly after the nuclear war. 25 years after the sealing, you are to rebuild the world.
What distinguishes Fallout 76? Fallout is one of the best-known and most popular franchises worldwide. Until now, the games have been purely single-player experiences. Fallout 76 will be the first online game in the history of the franchise. Up to 4 players can team up and play together. However, typical Fallout elements such as quests, a story, and a leveling system will still be present. We are excited to see how successfully Bethesda will implement an online Fallout.

FIFA 19
What is FIFA 19? FIFA 19 is the annual soccer simulation from EA. FIFA 19 will see some changes to gameplay aimed at giving players more control. This will be realized, among other things, through a new shooting system.
What distinguishes FIFA 19? Every year, EA strives for new official licenses to stay ahead of Pro Evolution Soccer. The biggest news at EA Play regarding FIFA 19 was the announcement of the UEFA Champions League. The rights were acquired from Konami, which had previously used the license for Pro Evolution Soccer. During the press conference, EA announced that the Champions League will be included in career mode, kick-off mode in FUT (Ultimate Team), and in “The Journey”. This allowed the already substantial giant FIFA 19 to position itself even stronger.
