What was the ranking based on? In the world of Game of Thrones, there is not only magic but also legendary creatures that are often considered myths even in Westeros.
As viewers, however, we know that at least some of these beings are not mere figments of imagination. In the ranking, we will only examine those creatures whose existence is surely confirmed.
Other myths and legends, such as mermaids or sphinxes, will be left aside for now.
Place 5: Shadow Wolves
Hardly any creature in Game of Thrones is probably as iconic as the shadow wolf. It is closely associated with House Stark and serves the family as their sigil. At the beginning of the series, the Stark children received their own shadow wolves, which later grew into powerful allies.
Visually, the creatures resemble an ordinary wolf. However, they are much larger, about the size of a small horse when fully grown. Their strength is also impressive. They can easily tear apart a human if they set their mind to it.
Although it is not quite clear how much magic is within the shadow wolves, they seem to have a kind of telepathic connection to their masters. In any case, they are deeply loyal and protect their humans until death.
