The Woman Who Fell to Earth – Sci-Fi Drama with a Happy Ending
What kind of quest is this? The Woman Who Fell to Earth is one of the quests that came with the new companions from the Wastelanders update. It belongs to Sofia Daguerre, a former commander of the United States Space Association (USSA).
The quest starts a whole series of additional quests that lead you deeper into the story of Commander Daguerre and give you a glimpse into her past. You help her navigate the new, destroyed world.
What makes it special? This quest is one of the first in the game where you really witness character development, like in a single-player RPG. You start out by helping a woman who appears to be injured.
As the series progresses, you learn more about her, that she is a former astronaut who literally slept through the war and has now awakened in a world that is completely foreign to her.
On her last day, meaning “yesterday,” everything was still fine. No war, no wasteland, no Bombs Drop Day that destroyed the entire world. You help her gradually adjust and process what has happened.
This starts with information about her crash and goes all the way to the search for her old crew members. Along the way, she trusts you more, reveals secrets about herself, and if you do everything right, you even end up as a couple.
Where do I find it? The quest series starts automatically with the quest “Crash Landing.” You receive this as a distress signal via radio once you are roughly near the abandoned bunker. You can receive it in most of Savage Divide, all the way down south.
