Crash Landed on Nukashine – The Playable Student Party
What kind of quest is this? Crash Landed on Nukashine introduces you to the student life at the VaultTec University in Morgantown. It starts with you being invited to a student party, even though all humans are actually dead.
The goal is to survive the party… well, more or less. Because as is customary at student parties, a lot of drinking is involved, and not necessarily just the safe stuff.
What makes it special? In the quest surrounding Nukashine, the homemade hardcore liquor, you investigate the production of this super alcohol. Nukashine is extremely hard liquor with truly nasty aftereffects.
During this, you also drink the stuff yourself and may wake up naked somewhere in the wilderness and completely hungover. Some players have even devised a challenge that plays around with this exact blackout.
The first experience with Nukashine is certainly the highlight of the quest, but the rewards are also noteworthy. By completing “Crash Landed on Nukashine,” you receive the blueprints for your own distillery at your camp and recipes for your first own alcohol. This way, you can easily brew beer, schnapps, or Nukashine in various variations yourself.
Where do I find them? The quest was introduced in Wild Appalachia with the alcohol update, which specifically brought Nukashine and other spirits into the game. You start it by interacting with a poster that invites you to the corresponding celebration.
You can find the posters at bus stops, train stations, and around the university. It also exists as a camp item, so it can also be found to start in other people’s camps or hung up in your own camp.
