Lay Down Your Arms
How many accounts have the achievement? Less than 1% of all accounts have this achievement.
What kind of achievement is this? This achievement was added with patch 11.0.7 and immediately caused a stir. Because the reward is the very special mount Jani – the scrap-loa that you could encounter in Zandalar.
But if you want to earn “Lay Down Your Arms”, you should plan a lot of time. Because you have to complete virtually all of the content of the “Battle for Azeroth” expansion down to the last detail.
This achievement is a true monster among meta achievements, as the whole action consists of 18 other meta achievements, most of which will take days or even weeks to complete.
The first steps are still easy – for example, defeating all raid bosses. That can be done quickly. But once it comes to all the farming tasks, reputation grinds, and a lot of nested quest lines, you should better plan a lot of free time.
In addition, a good part of the achievements also has a time limit. To complete all achievements, you have to complete certain world quests within a time limit or with specific requirements. However, since these world quests are not permanently active, you have to actively watch out for when the respective quests pop up. You cannot simply complete the achievement “on the side”.
At the same time, this is one of the few achievements in World of Warcraft that you cannot complete with a single character or faction. To complete the entire story of “Battle for Azeroth” and the associated achievements, you need to play both an Alliance and a Horde character.
