How does it play? As usual, you compete in FIFA 20 against AI or real opponents. The number of licenses remains almost unchanged from previous FIFA installments. In the game, you will find teams like FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Borussia Dortmund. Players like Marco Reus or Cristiano Ronaldo look remarkably similar to their real-world counterparts.
However, there was a cut. Juventus Turin is no longer fully licensed and appears in FIFA 20 under the name “Piemonte Calcio”.
The selection of game modes is extensive. Whether friendly matches against friends, the path to the top in career mode, or the search for the perfect team in “Ultimate Team” – FIFA 20 offers you many possibilities to play. The VOLTA mode, which brings football back to the streets, is brand new.
How does FIFA 20 generate revenue? Particularly in Ultimate Team mode, FIFA 20 is likely to generate a lot of revenue. Here, players can buy FIFA Points to acquire packs. These packs can randomly contain strong cards if you’re lucky. However, the chance of drawing special cards is not particularly high. FUT is also playable without spending real money.
The game FIFA 20 itself also has to be purchased.
What interesting developments have occurred in FIFA 20? Compared to previous FIFA installments, the new VOLTA mode is the biggest change. Here, it is possible to play street football reminiscent of the old FIFA Street games. There is a story and an online mode. The Journey mode has been removed in FIFA 20.
There have also been significant changes to the gameplay. Altered ball physics and many adjustments to AI have noticeably changed the gameplay experience compared to FIFA 19. The Champions League is also back.
On the next page, you will find another sports game in first place.
