What is Atlas? The pirate MMO made waves in December 2018 and promised massive servers that are said to host up to 40,000 players. Since then, Atlas has been in Early Access.
In Atlas, you take on the role of a pirate and can do all the things pirates used to do: You experience adventures on your ship, which you can build yourself, but you can also move around on land.
The game world consists of countless small islands that you can explore and conquer. There, you can build a base and have to protect it from enemies.
How important is sailing in Atlas? Moving on the water is one of the central points in Atlas. From building your own ship to hiring a crew to large naval battles, Atlas offers everything a buccaneer’s heart desires.
It is important to work in a guild, as this allows you to build a real fleet and dominate the ocean.

Nevertheless, there are certainly positive voices. There is often hope expressed that Atlas will better manage the bugs when they leave Early Access.
