What is Neverwinter? The Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG Neverwinter immerses you in the city of Neverwinter and surrounding areas. Dark forces threaten the fantasy realm of the Forgotten Realms, and you must save the city together with friends.
To do this, you complete many quests, build your hero according to D&D rules, and explore exciting areas. PvP takes place in special zones.
How is the entry into the game? Neverwinter begins directly with the siege of the city of Neverwinter. As a newcomer, you’ll initially only face easier enemies. As you get stronger, new zones will open up to you with more challenges. Thus, you will gradually be introduced to the game without the entry feeling boring.
What can you expect in the endgame? You can develop your hero further based on the Paragon paths. Moreover, particularly PvP represents an important endgame content. You can build fortresses and defend against attacks from enemy players, or compete against each other in the dwarf city of Gauntlygrym.
Is there a special upgrade for next-gen? No next-gen upgrade for Neverwinter has been announced yet. However, the MMORPG should run smoothly in its regular form via the backward compatibility of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
How modern does the game feel? Neverwinter was released in 2013 for PC. The MMORPG is already 7 years old. The console ports followed later. However, the gameplay is timeless and still fun today.
Graphically, Neverwinter still looks good, but do not expect high-end visuals.
