What is EVE Online? The space MMO can make you a pirate or a large entrepreneur. In the vast galaxy, thousands of players pursue their own goals. Alliances wage wars for territories or for revenge. Players want to explore every corner and every star system. Pirates raid the convoys of other players.
In this sandbox, players determine what happens and these actions have significant impacts on the power structure and economy.
How great are the freedoms in the game? The developer studio CCP Games intervenes very little in the game. Only in exceptional cases, when something runs amok or to introduce new content.
Thus, EVE Online is a game that is essentially completely in player hands in which you can do just about anything you want to achieve your self-imposed goals.
Who should consider EVE Online? The MMO is very complex, and the entry is not particularly easy to master. However, once you have set foot in this universe, you surely won’t want to miss all the freedoms and possibilities.
However, to truly succeed and exert influence, you need to invest a lot of time in EVE Online.
Do you have any other sandbox MMOs that you enjoy playing? Which ones are those?
