What is Minecraft? The big hit with block graphics allows you to basically live a second life in a virtual world. Although it’s not yet a massively multiplayer game because the number of players is limited to 99 per lobby, it remains one of the best sandboxes.
You mine resources to build yourself a house, plant crops, tame animals, and explore the world. Along the way, you can also change it, digging holes or burrowing down into deep caves.
In these, dangers like spiders or zombies await you, but also a lot of treasures. Building together with friends leads some players to create entire cities or even artworks. The number of players is supposedly set to rise dramatically soon.
How great are the freedoms in the game? Being able to change the world with pickaxe and shovel brings a level of freedom that hardly any other MMO offers. Furthermore, there is no predefined goal. What exactly you do in the world depends on you.
Every exploration trip can become an adventure, and even expanding a house is a lot of fun.
Who should consider Minecraft? Minecraft is a game for the whole family. Players meet in a world and work together toward their goals. Be it building a city or simply exploring a newly discovered cave.
Young or old, adventurer or craftsman, Minecraft offers something for everyone.
