What is it about? The Dangers in My Heart: Season 2 (original title: Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) is the continuation of the popular romantic comedy anime series based on the manga of the same name by Norio Sakurai.
The series revolves around the relationship between two very different characters: the introverted and somewhat dark Kyotaro Ichikawa and the popular, cheerful Anna Yamada.
In the second season, the relationship between Kyotaro and Anna deepens. While the first season mainly focused on their approach and Kyotaro’s inner conflict between his dark thoughts and his growing affection for Anna, Season 2 is more about how the two discover and express their feelings for each other.
What makes the anime so special? The series places great emphasis on the internal monologues and thoughts of the protagonist, thus creating a realistic portrayal of teenage feelings.
The second season is full of sweet, funny, and sometimes embarrassing moments, where Kyotaro and Anna try to understand and express their feelings for each other. However, there are no exaggerated clichés or sudden declarations of love.
