The idea of wanting to eliminate past mistakes and then living with the consequences is not entirely new, but it does offer some previously unknown perspectives. If you want to dive into a beautiful drama full of heart, you should definitely catch this film.

Because although the film is indeed suitable for the whole family, it is not a colorful fairy tale with cute characters. Some of the creatures here are really eerie. In any case, the film is perfect for a family evening – and it is rightly considered one of the most successful anime films of all time.

When a village of the Emishi is attacked by a demonic wild boar, the young prince risks his life to protect it. Although he kills the monster, he is cursed by it. In search of a cure, the prince finds himself near a large city. The city plans to clear the forest extensively while the nature-loving peoples of the forest want to protect its spirits – nature spirits that are not at all in favor of the deforestation.
What to expect from Princess Mononoke: Princess Mononoke is simply a good and exciting fantasy story with plenty of details and a great animation style, even though the film is already a quarter of a century old. Despite its rather medieval fantasy setting, the film has some interesting lessons on dealing with nature and technology that are still relevant today.
