There are different maps and missions that are based on the story of One Piece. However, the campaign is partially a what-if scenario and is not a retelling of the manga’s story. The game focuses more on the mindless but fun gameplay.
With combos and the abilities of the playable characters, you fight in opulent battles. The abilities fit perfectly with the large masses of opponents. It just feels good to take out multiple opponents with gum-gum attacks.
4. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

What kind of game is this? Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the best way to experience the story of Dragon Ball Z as a game. You play from the Saiyan Saga to the end of the Boo Saga. Along the way, you relive battles from the series. In typical CyberConnect2 fashion, the important battles are staged like in the anime.
In large areas, you can explore iconic places with different fighters, meet famous characters, and complete side quests. The side quests always capture the humor of the series well. Who wouldn’t want to play Goku and Piccolo’s driving test?
All these activities and various encounters level up your heroes, whom you can then enhance with skill points. You unlock iconic attacks and become stronger in battle. DLC episodes have now also been released, that cover several Dragon Ball movies that you can replay.
