The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) has some trophies on the PS4 that you can snag. We from MeinMMO will show you the 4 rarest of them and how to get them in our guide.
In total, there are 125 trophies for ESO on the PS4, and with each addon, there are more. The latest expansion Greymoor will certainly have a few of them in store for you again.
Some of the trophies are so hard to reach that only a fraction of players actually have them. There are also such achievements on the PC, one of which has only been achieved by 0.09% of players worldwide.

Included is a trophy from the base game that still only a few have after so many years. Additionally, three from the addons, which therefore do not count towards the Platinum trophy.
Only individual achievements are considered here. Trophies that require you to complete multiple things are excluded. For example, those that demand all achievements from a certain faction.
The Rarest Trophies Without Platinum
The trophies that are hardest to get on the PS4 aside from Platinum usually lead you into dungeons. For that, it’s best to have a good group. You can also achieve many trophies if you prefer to tackle the dungeons in ESO solo. Just give it a try.
One of the 4 trophies leads you to the battlefield of the Alliance War. These are the 4 rarest trophies that players can earn on the PS4. The percentages were checked on May 4th via the website exophase.com.
- 0.14% – Keep a Cool Foot (Bronze)
- Defeat Mathgamain, Caillaoife, Steinherz, Galchobhar, Gherig Bullenblut and his servants, and the Bloodwell Amalgam, without stepping in molten Nirncrux even once, flowing through the Bloodwell Forge (Veteran).
- 0.15% – Bloodbath (Bronze)
- Defeat Dungeon Master Melitus in the Moonhunter Keep without taking damage from his bloody geysers.
- 0.26% – Clumsy Help (Silver)
- Defeat Archivist Ernarde in the Moonhunter Keep without killing the first clumsy werewolf.
- 0.53% – Emperor! (Gold)
- Dominate the battlefield of the Alliance War and become the Emperor of Tamriel. May you reign for a long time!
Trophy Guide – Guide Helps in Collecting Trophies
Let it be said that here are presented 4 very tricky trophies that you can’t just grab easily. You need skill, luck, or a very good group, sometimes even all of them together.
However, we from MeinMMO want to give you a few tips on how to get the trophies more easily.
Trophy “Keep a Cool Foot”
What makes this trophy? We are here in the “Horns of the Reach” addon. To be precise, in the dungeon “Bloodwell Forge” in Veteran mode.
Your movement is required here, as you must manage to clear all bosses and their trash without anyone stepping into molten Nirncrux. This is actually a red rock that is often ground into powder to manufacture potions or elixirs.
In the Bloodwell Forge, you encounter it in molten form everywhere. The further you progress, the worse it seems to get. Moreover, you also regularly get it from the bosses.
What tips help to earn the trophy? Besides a decent portion of luck, you can also contribute a bit to this trophy:
- Pay attention to your movement; every move needs to count for this trophy, even if you are just walking to the next monster.
- Always keep an eye on your surroundings. You don’t want to be caught when you least expect it.
- Go into the dungeon with a good group. Preferably a well-rehearsed guild team. After all, we are in the more difficult Veteran mode, and the dungeon must be fully contested.
- You should use voice chat. This allows you to make announcements and give tips to other players.
- If you get caught by the Nirncrux, it’s best to reset the dungeon and start over from the beginning.
Trophy “Bloodbath”
What makes this trophy? For this trophy, you need to be in the dungeon “Moonhunter Keep.” It is part of the “Wolfhunter” addon. The normal mode is sufficient; you do not need veteran difficulty.
You can get the achievement right at the first boss. This boss is named Dungeon Master Melitus and regularly spawns bloody geysers. These are areas on the ground that you must urgently avoid or step out of immediately.
What tips help to earn the trophy? The boss itself doesn’t hold out much; it’s more about your movement:
- You must immediately run out of the areas. Stay in motion afterward, as he spawns multiple geysers.
- Avoid the areas that are coming toward you. So always stay focused.
- Keep an eye on your surroundings.
- Warn your teammates via voice chat if areas are coming.
- Take a good team with you. The boss doesn’t hold much out, and if he dies faster, you have to worry about fewer geysers.
- As this is the first boss, restarting the instance is quick. So if you step into a geyser, just quickly restart.
Trophy “Clumsy Help”
What makes this trophy? We are back in the addon “Wolfhunter” and in the dungeon “Moonhunter Keep”. This time in normal mode at the fourth boss. You do not have to earn this trophy in veteran mode.
The boss is named “Archivist Ernarde” and spawns various adds at 100%. One of them transforms into a werewolf, which you must keep alive until the end of the fight.
What tips help to earn the trophy? Here are various strategies that can help you to victory:
- The tank can pull the add into a corner, and the rest of the group focuses on the boss.
- Of course, good damage is advantageous for that.
- Sometimes it helps not to spot the add, as it then gets less power-up. Those who want to play it safe with tanking should do this.
- If your tank cannot hold the add long enough, you can also try kiting. Lead the monster a bit further step by step. But watch out for your teammates’ areas so you don’t lose aggro.
- Your tank should also get healing from time to time if it gets too tight.
Trophy “Emperor!”
What makes this trophy? Even though this trophy has been reached by 0.53% more players than the other three, it is still probably the most difficult.
In “Emperor!” you must be at the top during an alliance war in Cyrodiil in PvP. Furthermore, your team must take all six castles. If that is the case, you will become the Emperor. Then it doesn’t matter how long the alliance war lasts.
This is quite a bit dependent on luck. Additionally, you need a capable team, as your performance alone is not enough. If you do not capture all castles, there will be no Emperor for you.
What tips help to earn the trophy? However, you can enhance your luck with several things:
- Defeat opponents, heal other players as much as possible, collect experience points, and so forth. Everything you achieve in Cyrodiil counts towards your score for the leaderboard.
- Get a buff that increases your score gain by 20%. You can get it from bosses in dungeons in Cyrodiil.
- Regularly check if you are currently leading in the leaderboard.
- Join a guild that pursues the same goal, namely to become Emperor as well.
- Sounds silly, but play in the alliance war as often as you can. Maybe you will hit a lucky shot for this trophy.
- Otherwise, you can create a new character for this trophy. Then go into a campaign at level 10, where there is often less competition than at level 50.
