The filming of the third season of the Netflix hit The Witcher is currently on pause. The reason is once again Corona. However, lead actor Henry Cavill is not idle and is upgrading his PC. MeinMMO shows you what’s inside.
Who is it about?
- The Witcher is one of the most successful Netflix series ever, based on a Polish book series, as well as the popular game series from CD Projekt. For some, “The Witcher 3” is the best game of all time.
- The main character, the witcher Geralt of Rivia, is portrayed by Henry Cavill – who also played Superman.
- The British actor is seen as a likable nerd – in 2020, he thrilled fans when he built his own gaming PC.
- The PC is now apparently suffering from the heat wave, as Cavill implemented several upgrades.

What’s in Geralt of Rivia’s PC
What was missing from the PC? In a post on his Instagram account, Henry Cavill announced that the AIO cooler gave up after years of intensive use and due to the heat wave in England. “It’s a PC thing,” he added for those who might not understand the term.
What did he install? The new cooler might visually be the NZXT Kraken Z73. This one stands out due to its cooling performance, a wide RPM range, and the display which can also be seen in Cavill’s post. The only downside is regarding the fans. (via Hardware-Helden)
Are there any other upgrades? This critique might have influenced Cavill’s decision to treat himself and his PC to another upgrade: fans from the Austrian manufacturer Noctua in their signature colors beige and brown.
“These little beauties run niiiiice and quiet,” writes the Witcher star. Moreover, more fans are already on the way, but he simply became too impatient and had already started installing them.
Is the PC doing well now? Observant viewers will notice that the temperatures at 64° for the CPU and 68° for the GPU are still quite high. However, Cavill reassures: these are in-game temperatures.
What game is currently pushing his PC to its limits, he hasn’t revealed yet.
