Which scene is it? Neil Druckmann, who is leading both the game and the series, spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the new season. He revealed that it contains scenes that were not included in the game.
One of them is said to be “quite brutal” and was originally written for the game. However, it was cut from the release version, possibly because it was too harsh. Druckmann has not revealed any exact details so far. Whether characters like Ellie or Joel are involved in it is still unclear.
What is certain is that season 2 is likely to raise the stakes in terms of intensity. Considering that the game was already anything but delicate in its portrayal of violence, the second season of the series could intensify even more. The franchise is generally unsuitable for sensitive souls.
