2nd Amazon Prime Day 2023: Dates, Tips, and Offers
When does the 2nd Prime Day take place? The 2nd Prime Day 2023 officially takes place on October 10 and 11. Amazon has confirmed this.
Amazon has stated that there will also be a 2nd Prime Day in 2023, but has not yet mentioned a specific date. The 2nd Prime Day will definitely take place in October.
How long does the 2nd Prime Day last? The Prime Day usually lasts 2 full days. It starts at midnight and then goes for 48 hours until midnight again. Last year (2022), the day took place on October 11 and 12.
Who can participate? You definitely need a Prime membership. In 2022, Amazon referred to the days as “Prime exclusive offers.” In practice, however, it is the same as the Prime Day: With a Prime subscription, you can take advantage of the offers; all other people are excluded.
According to colleagues at PC World, you cannot use a trial membership to take advantage of these offers on short notice to purchase deals. However, this has not been confirmed or denied by Amazon so far. It is certain that you need a Prime membership.

Black Friday will still take place despite the 2nd Prime Day
Will there still be Black Friday offers? Yes, the Black Friday or Cyber Week at Amazon is not expected to be affected by the Prime Day. These offers will still take place in 2023 but much later. You should expect around mid-November 2023.
The so-called Black Friday takes place in the USA on November 24, 2023. In the USA, this is the day after Thanksgiving, when the Christmas shopping season traditionally begins.
