The 2nd Pokémon GO Community Day is coming on February 24 with these bonuses [Update]

The first Community Day in Pokémon GO took place a few days ago. This event is now supposed to occur monthly with various bonuses, provide variety, and give trainers the opportunity to meet with other fans of the game to play together.

Niantic has now released more dates for the next event of this kind.

Community Day on February 24 with Dratini

On February 24, 2018, the second Community Day in Pokémon GO will take place, featuring the dragon monster “Dratini” as the Pokémon of the day. February 24 is again a Saturday, and the developers have decided to hold it from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, just like the last event.

We know that this “Pokémon of the day” will appear more frequently and master special, exclusive event moves.

However, Niantic is still silent about this information regarding Dratini. What exclusive move it will master at the 2nd Community Day will probably be revealed by the developers in the coming weeks.

Update 17.02.2018: On the evening of February 16, the developers announced that the special move is “Draco Meteor“.

The Draco Meteor move can be learned by Dragoran. However, this move cannot be learned through the addition of TMs. Officially, it is said, “To learn this exclusive move, one must catch or evolve the special Pokémon during the active time of the Community Day.”

During the event, there will be additional bonuses. These include:

• 3-hour lures
• 3x Stardust for a catch

Many trainers noticed during the first Community Day that the Pokémon of the day (Pikachu) was more frequently found in its shiny form. Now the community hopes for similar special occurrences with Dratini. Whether these wishes will be fulfilled, we will find out at the latest shortly after the event starts on February 24.

The first Community Day took place on January 20 and featured a Pikachu that knows the Surfer move as a special feature.

During the first Community Day, many trainers flocked to the parks to catch special Pikachu. But which team was the most successful? The developers released statistics for the event on January 20 and showed that Team Mystic (Blue) caught the most Pokémon per player that day.

Following in second place is Team Valor (Red) and in third place is Team Instinct (Yellow).
