Rank 5: Cinderace (Cinderace)
- Battle Type: Attacker (physical)
- Preferred Lane: Jungle, but Top and Bot Lane are also effectively possible
- Equippable Held Items:
- Scope Lens
- Muscle Band
- Buddy Barrier
- Focus Band
This is Cinderace: Cinderace has not been part of the franchise for long. It is a starter Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield, the 8th generation of the main series. It is a Fire-type Pokémon that extraordinarily enjoys playing football. This is also reflected in its attacks.
With Pyro Ball, it shoots a fireball at distant opponents and deals heavy damage. Its Unite Move Blazing Bicycle Kick operates similarly, except the fireball is much larger and inflicts even more damage. Otherwise, it can move quickly from one place to another with Flame Charge.
In the jungle, it can best exploit its potential, but it is also strong on both lanes. It benefits from supporters like Eldegoss, Blissey, or Mr. Mime, who ease its start.
Your 6.64% (127 votes) elevate Cinderace to rank 5 on this list.
Rank 4: Greninja (Greninja)
- Battle Type: Attacker (physical)
- Preferred Lane: Jungle, but Top and Bot Lane are also effectively possible
- Equippable Held Items:
- Muscle Band

- Buddy Barrier
- Score Shield

- Shell Bell
This is Greninja: The ninja frog Greninja is one of the starters from Kalos. This is the region from the Pokémon X/Y games and therefore the 6th of the main series.
Greninja’s ninja characteristics are evident not only through its typical poses but also through its attacks. It can use Water Shuriken to flee and attack at the same time. Surf is also an attack where Greninja utilizes its speed and striking power.
Double Team and Smokescreen are fantastic options to quickly escape from an opponent or to sneak up and attack.
Thanks to you, Greninja sneaks into 4th place with 151 of your votes (7.89%).
Rank 3: Alolan Ninetales (Alolan Ninetales)
- Battle Type: Attacker (special)
- Preferred Lane: Top or Bot Lane
- Equippable Held Items:
- Exp. Share
- Buddy Barrier
- Wise Glasses
- Focus Band
- Score Shield
This is Alolan Ninetales: The graceful and beautiful Ice Pokémon Alolan Ninetales is originally derived from the Fire-type Pokémon Ninetales. Alolan Ninetales first appeared in the region of Alola, which belongs to generation 7 of the main series. In it, some Pokémon received an Alolan form, including Ninetales. So far, it is the only Alolan-form Pokémon in Pokémon Unite.
The Ice Pokémon can not only look beautiful but also pack a punch. With its abilities, it is considered one of the best Pokémon in Unite.
You have a wonderful opportunity with the skill Dazzling Gleam to immobilize opponents and inflict good damage. Aurora Veil can reduce damage from enemies and buff Ninetales at the same time. You can use Blizzard to knock back enemy Pokémon and deal damage.
Speaking of knocking back: With Avalanche, you can create a wall of ice and thrust opponents back against this wall with the subsequent icy breeze. Together with partners like Pikachu, Mr. Mime, or Lucario, Alolan Ninetales can shine even more.
Alolan Ninetales receives a bronze medal from you with 8.89% (170 votes) and thus becomes the first to reach the podium in the top 3.
Rank 2: Lucario
- Battle Type: All-Rounder
- Preferred Lane: Top or Bot Lane. Lucario can also go into the Jungle if necessary
- Equippable Held Items:
- Focus Band
- Attack Weight
- Muscle Band
- Score Shield
This is Lucario: Lucario is also known as a colorful dog among Pokémon fans. Since Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, it has been firmly part of the franchise. You can encounter a Lucario in almost every team of generation 4 of the main series. In the anime, it has often been featured, was able to speak at times, and is now even part of Ash’s team.
In Pokémon Unite, it possesses immense striking power, and with each patch that comes out, players wonder when Lucario will be weakened. Power-Up Punch is probably the best example. Fully charged, it causes immense damage. Additionally, it can quickly dash forward with this attack and steal valuable Pokémon like Drednaw or Zapdos.
With its Unite Move called Aura Cannon, it shoots a large energy ball and inflicts significant damage on Pokémon. Furthermore, the next Power-Up Punch is further strengthened by this attack. Bone Rush is also a very powerful attack that allows Lucario to quickly move toward and away from the opponent.
Lucario perfectly confirms its battle type All-Rounder. You can play it on any lane and with almost any Pokémon. It will always deliver an outstanding performance.
The 171 votes (8.94%) just barely place it above Alolan Ninetales, securing 2nd place on your list.
Rank 1: Zeraora
- Battle Type: Speedster
- Preferred Lane: Jungle
- Equippable Held Items:
- Scope Lens
- Muscle Band
- Score Shield
- Buddy Barrier
- Attack Weight
- Focus Band
This is Zeraora: The legendary Pokémon Zeraora was distributed for free to players upon the release of Pokémon Unite. Since it is a Legendary, it has made several appearances in films and in the series. Like Alolan Ninetales, it was introduced in Generation 7 of the main series.
With its initial attacks Agility and Slash, it can quickly take down all opponents in the jungle and level up rapidly. With Spark or Volt Switch, Zeraora is also fast and can inflict damage on enemies.
With the attack Discharge, Zeraora creates a ring of electricity that floats around it for a short time. This ring deals substantial damage to opponents. Its Unite Move called Plasma Gale creates a blue electric ring that stays in one place.
This move can deal high damage and should always be ready for crucial fights. Additionally, the Unite Move increases the range and damage of Zeraora’s basic attacks while it is within the ring.
With 10.14%, or 194 votes from you, it could take the 1st place. Zeraora is the favorite of MeinMMO readers!
