In Destiny 2, Guardians have found the first new exotic weapon of the DLC “Black Armory”: the grenade launcher “Anarchy.” Initial tests show: The weapon has a unique, quite crazy functionality. It fires not grenades, but mines that can be connected together.
With the new DLC “Black Armory” a total of 5 new Exotics are set to come to Destiny 2. However, it will take longer for some. For example, the hand cannon “The Last Word” will only be available at the end of January.
How exactly to get the exotic weapons is still a mystery for many at the moment. However, one of the new weapons has now been found.
This is the new Exotic: It is the exotic grenade launcher “Anarchy.”
Where can you get Anarchy? As Bungie revealed after the World First in the new raid, Anarchy is a “rare drop” that can be obtained by completing the new raid “Scourge of the Past.”
It was also shown live that the grenade launcher dropped for the first players when they finished the raid and opened the chest.
What makes “Anarchy” so special? The gimmick of the grenade launcher is that it fires mines that stick to the ground or other surfaces, creating a field of tension between them.
This is what tests have shown: The YouTuber “Kamira” has conducted tests with the grenade launcher.
He says there are these ways to deal damage with the thing:
- You can attach mines to enemies that stick to the foe and deal damage over time
- The mines can also be placed individually on the ground. They will then deal damage to anyone who walks into a radius of 3 meters
- Or you can place multiple mines that create a field of tension between them and deal significant damage. The mines stick to all surfaces and also to Guardians or aliens.
