What is Blue Protocol? Blue Protocol focuses on telling an exciting story. You travel back 1,000 years in time to save the world from an impending catastrophe. To do this, you team up with other players and experience a story that, thanks to cutscenes and voice acting, resembles a playable anime.
The MMORPG focuses on PvE group content but will forgo housing and PvP at launch. However, you can expect large raids where you engage in action-packed battles against nasty boss monsters.
What status is the title currently in? Blue Protocol has completed a closed beta in Japan, which was very well received. The influx on the servers was enormous.
The release of the game is planned for this year in Japan. The developers are still silent about release plans in the West.
What makes Blue Protocol special? Blue Protocol is regarded as a hopeful MMORPG because it takes the wishes of some fans into account and looks very good:
- the focus is on PvE and story
- quests, raids, and battles are at the center
- the story is presented like in an anime – even with voice acting
- group content is at the forefront
For whom is the MMORPG suitable? Blue Protocol clearly targets all players for whom PvE and story are important in an MMORPG. At least at launch, there will be no PvP. You should experience a story together with friends. If that’s what you want, keep an eye on Blue Protocol.
