Lost Ark takes place in a strange Asian world where demons coexist alongside futuristic steampunk heroes, sword fighters, and cowboys.
The game is particularly praised for its outstanding development over the years, its long-time fair payment model, and the enormous variety and depth of content. However, criticisms are mainly directed at the grindy random factor in armor upgrades, the gender lock typical for Asian games, the parts that are almost too time-consuming, and the high bot population.
