A researcher named Seth, who studies the science of teleportation, invents the so-called “Telepods,” through which any object can be teleported from one Telepod to another. It seems to work, but something goes horribly wrong when a fly accidentally teleports with him.
Seth gradually transforms into a terrifying mutated creature of man and insect and struggles desperately to control his mutated genes. This transmutation escalates until at the end of the film, Seth becomes a monster of man, insect, and machine, whose only salvation becomes the shot from a shotgun.
