Rank 7: Asha Greyjoy
After Theon Greyjoy was sent to the Starks as a ward, Asha (in the original English: Yara) was left as the only child of Balon Greyjoy, the head of House Greyjoy. He raised her somewhat like a son, which is very unusual in the harsh culture of the Ironborn.
She is a fierce and fearless warrior, commands her own fleet, and is respected by many Ironborn. After the murder of her father, she claims the crown of the Ironborn for herself. Although she receives much support, she is ultimately overridden by her uncle Euron.
Rank 6: Olenna Tyrell
Officially, Mace is the head of the Tyrells. But in truth, it is his mother Olenna who directs the fate of the house. She does not allow herself to be prohibited anything and is known for her sharp tongue, which is why she is also known as the “Queen of Thorns”.
As a skilled intriguer, she works behind the scenes to achieve her goals. She was particularly involved in the death of King Joffrey and demonstrated her power even just before her death with the famous quote: “Tell Cersei. I want her to know that I did it.”
Rank 5: Cersei
Cersei Lannister is a much-hated, yet very powerful character in Game of Thrones. As the wife of King Robert, she became the queen of the Seven Kingdoms and quickly learned to play the game of thrones like no other.
She knows how to manipulate, tyrannize, and exploit her position. At the same time, she is always driven by the fear of losing her power. To maintain it, she is willing to do anything. For example, she blows up the Great Sept to eliminate her rival Margaery Tyrell.
As the first woman in history, she claims the Iron Throne and becomes queen of the Seven Kingdoms. But the cost of it was high. She lost all her children, and in the war against Daenerys, ultimately also her life.
Rank 4: Sansa Stark
Hardly any character has undergone such a character development as Sansa Stark. At the beginning, she was a naive girl who wished for nothing more than to marry a dream prince. But life was not kind to her. She lost most of her family. She was also married to two of the most cruel men in Westeros: Joffrey Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton.
But she not only survived all this; she also emerged stronger than ever. Especially from her former tormentor Cersei, she learned a lot and became a skilled politician. She helped Jon win the “Battle of the Bastards”, became the lady of Winterfell, and in the end even became the queen of the North.
