3. SpaceGodzilla
- First appeared in the film Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla (1994)
Now we come to a candidate whose origin is so absurd that no other monster can compare. There is no real origin story for him. According to Wikizilla, the humans in the film suspected that Godzilla’s genes somehow ended up in a black hole, from which SpaceGodzilla was born.
Basically, SpaceGodzilla looks like the familiar giant lizard, but it has crystalline structures on its body. Notably, there are 2 huge crystals protruding from its shoulders, and its tail has crystal scales. In battle, it can also fire crystals.
SpaceGodzilla has enormous strength and endurance, and he can activate a special energy shield that blocks Godzilla’s atomic breath. He can also fire an energy beam called Corona Beam, which he can easily control, or at least that’s what the film implies.
Godzilla had noticeable trouble defeating his alien opponent in the film. After a human robot destroyed the two large crystals, SpaceGodzilla’s energy seemed diminished. With one last laser, Godzilla was then able to finish off the monster.
