6. Hedorah
- First appeared in the film Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971)
Moving on to another alien, this time a very special one. The giant slime monster Hedorah landed on Earth thanks to a comet and began to feed on the pollution created by humans.
During its first appearance, the monster managed to evolve due to the many contaminations. With its liquid form, it was able to spread acid in Japan while searching for more waste and destroying many buildings in the process. Due to its unusually liquid form, Hedorah is a special opponent that Godzilla could not easily defeat.
In the film, Godzilla only managed to defeat the Kaijū with the help of humans. They used giant electrodes to dry out the monster. Godzilla and the humans managed to accomplish this after Godzilla, as usual, used his atomic laser to enhance the electrodes. The director of the next Godzilla film is even a fan of Hedorah and would like to see him again.
