What is Rust? Rust is a survival MMO. Your character can starve, die of thirst, and also suffer from cold. You explore the world, search for food and resources, create items, and need shelter.
Danger lurks everywhere in the world. You can’t trust anyone. Carelessness can lead to losing everything. Open PvP and wild animals also make life difficult. But that high level of difficulty makes Rust intriguing.
So many players does Rust have on Steam: Rust had an average of 58,241 players online in the last 30 days. The peak was 93,595 simultaneous players.
This is what players think: Rust has a somewhat idiosyncratic community in which it can get very rough. You have to be prepared for that when you enter the MMO. Nevertheless, many enjoy Rust greatly, even if there are some critiques. It is well received by players.
- Bubbbblez writes on Steam: “Extremely difficult, and you need at least 10 GB of RAM or the stuttering is unbearable. The community is a bit toxic, but the game is extremely fun!”
- ShadowVoyd thinks: “Maybe I’m just unlucky, but this game is extremely difficult to play. If you’re not lucky with the random system, you’re out of luck.”
This is what MeinMMO says: Rust offers exactly what fans of survival games want. Survival is the focus, and that is anything but easy. However, anyone considering entering Rust must know that every mistake is harshly punished.
